Asia Pacific REIT Survey 2008
In order to develop a better understanding of the REIT market in Asia-Pacific and local nuances in each country, Trust undertook an inaugural survey of key stakeholders in the region in 2006. The intention of this survey was to create a benchmark of responses, with the survey to be repeated annually to monitor changes in the perception of REIT markets over time.
We have just launched the second annual Asia-Pacific REIT survey. This year we partnered with leading international law firm Allens Arthur Robinson (AAR). In this year's report, we have a new "Country Analysis" section in which AAR provided a detailed analysis of the current regulatory environment of the 12 key countries in Asia.
